Today the Black Forest is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Germany. With an area of 7.860 square kilometers, it serves as the southern cornerstone of Germany. It stretches a length of 160 km and reaches of width of more than 20 km in the north and more than 60 km in the south. The beautiful scenery in particular is what makes this region so appealing.

Its valleys and mountains, pastures and lakes always lure visitors to come back.

Its large lakes, such as the Schluchsee or the Titisee, offer boat tours. Nature conservation sites such as the Feldsee or Schlüchtsee reflect the interconnectivity with nature. All the same, whether you like to hike, ski or like to go Nordic walking, the Black Forest offers the ideal setting.

With an altitude of 1.490 m, the Feldberg is the highest mountain in the Black Forest. During the summer hikers are bedazzled by its marvelous views. During the winter, it’s a center of attraction for winter sport enthusiasts.
